today I went to the eye doctor and it was easy as I did not get my eyes dilated, where then I found a blue box and flew off to distance lands, and la de da.

I did get my eyes dilated, which I wasn't suppose to but whatever, next year it won't happen, haha, like it happened this year.
Tuesday Sarah (my roomie Sarah) and I went up to see M. Butterfly at the Guthrie and one I love their thrust stage. maaaan.
well we walking in and after being sat by a wonderful old gentlemen whispering to each other about the actor on stage.
we were one of the first to sit down, and there was an actor sitting with a knee up and a hand over it, all in black with a black mask and he sat completely still. for a half an hour. without fidgeting. if you watched closely you could see his eyes blink and move and he did move positions once, but every show that I've seen that start the pre-show with actors on stage, Raisin in the Sun, and Radio Gulf, were very good plays.
I know that judging plays on whether they start with something on stage is not the best way to go but I like that aspect more.
and the play was so good! just everything.
they brought on props that they needed during the scene by the people who were wearing all black and they hid them by fans. it was a very interesting way to do it and very well thought out.
after it got over Sarah and I just looked at each other just in awe. there was no other way to say it.
so all in all a good night =]
also I get to see some of my favorite people on Saturday!
